The therapist will take a detailed case history and background information from the child's parents or carers. The therapist will use a range of professional assessments and observations to determine whether or not therapy will be beneficial or recommendations only. This will take place at the child's home/school and will last for 60-90 minutes. A written report will be provided within 7 days of the consultation. This report will either be a short summary or a more comprehensive analysis and be shared with other professionals, as agreed with parents.
Therapy sessions last 40 - 60 minutes and include therapy (with parent(s) present throughout), follow-up assessment as needed, and discussion. Outside the consultation, the therapist will prepare written therapy targets, plan and prepare material (this is included in the price).
